Design Brief

Four18 were engaged to prepare a joint rezoning and town planning submission for a commercial/retail precinct in Corio. Situated next to an existing major retailer, Four18 (with Spire Consulting) negotiated potential development options with the City of Greater Geelong for the rezoning of the site from Res1 to BZ1. We were invited by CoGG to the Inquiry by Design as part of the Corio Norlane Structure Plan process which subsequently supported the rezoning of the site Council’s Urban Renewal program. The planning permit and rezoning was successful which will provide 3500m2 of retail floor space or medical use if the project proceeds to the construction stage.
