Design Brief

Whilst employed at GHD, Directors Darren Hall and Richie Schultz developed designs for a two-storey development at Fisherman’s Beach Torquay. The original design incorporated a restaurant at first floor accessed from The Esplanade. When negotiations with the preferred restaurant operator failed, Four18 Architecture was engaged by GORCC to undertake the redesign, documentation and contract administration as a single-level building whilst being respectful of this iconic location.
